ZATAC SERVICE AREAS

POLICY ADVOCACY

ZATAC assists smallholder organizations; agribusiness associations and cooperatives; and the private agribusiness sector to formulate and develop their policy positions to improve the Zambian business environment. ZATAC also assists its clients in identifying areas for policy and regulatory improvement by undertaking studies and supporting policy advocacy activities leading to sectoral policy reforms that promote efficiency in the agribusiness system and facilitate economic development. ZATAC's goal in this area is to help improve and further the quality of dialogue between the public and private sectors as well as provide momentum to the policy reform campaign. ZATAC places emphasis on sectoral policies related to input access, import substitution, and access to regional markets.
